“We also know that we need to repeat something new for around 66 days for it to become a habit – and that includes losing weight. Fad diets don’t give us enough time to establish a new habit, which is one reason why they don’t work. They also don’t teach you why you gained the weight in the first place. You may lose the weight initially – but you will almost certainly put it all back on.

“Spend 10 minutes a day tracking what you eat and drink – and keep it up for 66 days or more – and it will become second nature. It works because you are slowly educating yourself to make better food choices – so you’re making the gradual lifestyle change that health experts continually talk about. 

“This is a great habit to adopt and if you’re serious about losing weight, 10 minutes a day is no time at all. Your early Christmas present will be a healthier, happier, more fabulous version of you!”
